Introduction
I took a long break from my online work, and honestly, it wasn’t planned.
Life got busy, and little by little, I stopped creating.
Now it’s been months, and starting again feels a bit scary.
But at the same time, I know I don’t want to give up on my goals.
So this is me… starting again, slowly and simply
What Happened
Before my break, I was working on a few things:
Amazon KDP books
My blog
Affiliate content
YouTube videos
At first, everything felt exciting. I had ideas, and I wanted to try everything.
But then I started doing too much at once.
I felt overwhelmed, and instead of slowing down, I stopped completely.
Days turned into weeks… and weeks turned into months.
What I Struggled With
Coming back wasn’t easy. I struggled with:
Feeling behind compared to others
Not knowing where to restart
Overthinking every idea
Wanting everything to be perfect
Sometimes I would sit down to work… and do nothing.
And that made me feel even worse.
What I’m Doing Now
This time, I’m doing things differently.
Instead of trying to do everything, I’m keeping it simple.
Here’s my new plan:
Focus on just a few things (KDP, blog, and short videos)
Do one small task each day
Create simple content, not perfect content
Reuse content across platforms (YouTube Shorts + TikTok)
I’m not rushing anymore.
I’m building slowly, step by step.
What I Learned
This break taught me a few important things:
You don’t need to do everything to make progress
Simple content is better than no content
Consistency matters more than motivation
It’s okay to take breaks — just don’t quit
Most importantly, I learned that starting again is always possible.
Final Thoughts
If you’re also trying to get back on track, I just want to say this:
You’re not behind.
You’re just restarting.
And that’s a powerful place to be.
Start small.
Keep it simple.
And take one step today.
We’ve got this
